Movie Marathon no longer appears on the topic list under Thread Games. Anyone else have this problem? The only way I can get there is to click my avatar icon and search recent posts for Movie Marathon, which has been active in the past hour
I see it in the Latest list directly below this post.
Still not there. The last post to the topic was one hour ago, so fhs topic should be 16th from the top, but it’s simply not there.
I see it in the forum’s thread listing too. Scroll to the bottom and see if you’ve accidentally set it to muted?
If I have muted it, how willl that interesting fact be revealed to me?
At the bottom of the thread, there’s a drop-down menu with choices “Watching”, “Tracking”, “Muted”, and “Normal”. The description for muted is “You will never be notified of anything about this topic, and and it will not appear in Latest.”
The drop-down is just below the buttons “Share”, “Bookmark”, et al and above “Suggested Topics”

OK, I see it now’ I love booby traps, they make life so interesting. Is there any way I can see a list of all the topics I’ve accidentally muted?
In your profile, in preferences, in categories, scroll down to “muted”, click on “show”.
If it’s muted, it should show up there. Click on it there to open it; then go down to the bottom of the page, click on the little dropdown arrow next to the category you’ve got it in, and set it to something else.
I don’t mean to sound unappreciative, but for starters, how do I open my profile?
Look on the upper right of the page for your avatar (if you didn’t get one, the board assigned you one; looks like yours is one of the defaults, a j in a box). Click on that. Click on the image of a person (if you hover over it it’ll say preferences.)
Or find a post that you made, and click on your avatar, which should show up right next to your name at the top of the post. That should put you in your profile; preferences is probably one of the options at the top of the page.
