An old Victoria band - Shovlhed - did lots of fine covers, including this feisty rendition of King Crimson’s Great Deciever

Possibly already mentioned: “Summertime Blues” had at least two awesome covers, by Blue Cheer and The Who.

Sublime - Scarlet Begonias (Grateful Dead cover) I am not a big rap fan but I like the rap Sublime added in the middle.

I love Slayer’s cover of Judas Priest’s Dissident Aggressor. It’s cool how they use guitars in some parts where the original has Rob Halford’s voice.

Also Corrosion of Conformity with a cover of Lord of This World by Black Sabbath. Has a really cool hyperspace sounding effect.
