Discomfort from your Glands

Every now and again, my submandibular gland (the one under the jawline at the start of the neck) sits awkwardly and it digs in to my throat. When it happens, it feels like someone is holding a knife to your throat. The only way to “pop” it back into position is if I tilt my head right back and click it back in place. It’s strange as it only happens to me on the one side.

I have only ever met one other person who suffers from this and was wondering if it was quite common?

Unless you’re made of Legos, glands don’t click into place.

It’s the jawbone.

I know the difference between a jawbone and a gland. It may not make a clicking sound, but it certainly feels like one when it foes back into place.

I might have the same thing- a tendon or something that I can feel behind that gland. Sometimes it feels like it is out of position and I can sort of pop it back. It only happens on one side.
