If you’re really hankerin’ for the King, he’s at my local grocery store. I can send you a couple of boxes.
I really miss the Snackwells chocolate yogurt. Damn, that stuff was good!

Still see those every Christmas here. White chocolate, milk chocolate and mint chocolate.
I can go to the grocery and buy Quisp and King Vitaman, too.
And S’Mores candy bars are NASTY. Taste like dirt.
Actually now that I think about it, it wasn’t the Hershey S’mores candy bar I was thinking of. What I used to get were pellet-like confections, sort of like the “BBs” that things like Butterfinger and some others started several years back. But these were in a box, not the bags like the BBs are. Marshmallow core, some sort of semi-crispy base surrounding it, dipped in chocolate. Yum-MY.
Knorr Oxtail soup - although Canada’s Knorr site still lists it - I haven’t seen it in stores for years.
I get the reference, but Quisp was my boy.
Saturday mornings watching Jonny Quest and Bugs Bunny was not complete without a bowl of Quisp, a brand which seemed to be semi-related to Captain Crunch, which was never my preferred early feed as considered non-optimal due to exhibiting excessive roof-mouth abrasive tendencies.
But no one misses the Orange Quangaroos, which was oddly disgusting despite being introduced by Quake in an Aussie Bush Hat instead of his miner’s hard hat.
Perusing the Quisp website, I see that it is only available at a handful of stores. Has anyone tried Quisp recently, as in after 1968 or so?
I remember a cookie I enjoyed as a kid, I think it may. have been from Keebler or a similar company. It was a cookie with a soft-almost melted-chocolate center. They were amazing. Anyone remember something like this? Probably about the late 80s to early 90s.
Anybody seen a box of Kellogg’s OK’s lately?
Had Yogi Bear on the outside.
Fruit flavor Certs. They were great.
Wackyfruit Bubble Yum. Tasted just like Peach Schnapps without the alcohol.
GatorGum. From the makers of Gatorade. Weirdest flavor/texture/color EVER!
Frusen Gladje. It was an ice cream. They whipped it before it was frozen, and it was CRAZY smooth. I’d adore its return
The original Jello Pudding Pops, complete with the weird layer of ice.
What about those weird drinks a few years ago that had the “blobs” in them? They weren’t around too long.
Yeah, I’ll be remembering discontinued foods the next few days now…
Keebler Chachos. Flour Tortilla chips. Two flavors: Cheesey Quesedilla and Cinnamon Crispana. I was a fan of the Cinnamon ones.
I bought a box of Quisp at a local Fred Meyer store about a couple months ago. However, that might’ve been a special “for limited time only” deal because I haven’t seen it for sale anywhere else since then.
Oh man that is exactly what I was talking about!
Magic Middles. To me at 12 or so they were the best.
That link is awesome, that guy is way too into those cookies.
I think I have vague memories of them, myself. You and I must be similarly aged.
I enjoyed Krispy Kritters in the '80s (animal-shaped cereal, quite tasty!)
My favorite discontinued food in general is Koogle banana flavored peanut butter (from the 70s)! mmm!
Here is a long, long list of 70s foods:
Ben & Jerry’s From Russian With Buzz. Best damn ice cream ever made. And discontinued (put in their graveyard) a couple years back.
Would that be Orbitz?
Man, those things were disgusting!
[sub]and now I’m craving one! I used to eat them in circular fashion.[/sub]
