I remember the Barbi Twins, Shane and Sia, from their heyday about 10 or so years ago. They were a highlight of my misspent youth. So I was excited when I learned that they were appearing again in Hustler this month, especially since the pictorial would probably be much more explicit than their past layouts. …
And then, I bought the issue. Frankly, I’m extremely disturbed and shocked with what I saw. Instead of two beautiful, voluptuous women, what I see are weird space-alien freaks, with oversized eyes and lips and concentration-camp waistlines. I can’t even look at them. What have they done to themselves?
According to an E Hollywood Story that was in mega-heavy rotation about a year ago they have major, major eating disorders. I remember at one point hotel maids would refuse to clean their rooms because the stench of vomit was so intense. They talked gleefully of making limo drivers stop at 7-11s while they bought bags and bags and bags of junk food to binge on, then spend all night throwing it up.
Some of the pictures don’t look too bad (but I don’t know when some of them may have been taken, they may be older), but many are just “eek.” I think at least part of the problem with their awful eyes and lips is the hideous makeup they wear. Bright blue eyes, surrounded by near black, with NEON pink lips, all on top of a George Hamilton tan. Yech.
As far as I can remember, they always looked like that – they’re just getting a bit older, and so possibly, well… more so.
Maybe you were just so awash in hormones a decade ago that you didn’t realize they were inhuman? They certainly don’t look any different to me now than they ever did; they were bizarre creatures in their heyday, and now they’re older, left-too-long-in-the-back-of-the-celebrity-refirgerator-and-faintly-smelling-of-old-cheese bizarre creatures.
Nah, in their heyday they looked like real women … Sure they had supergigantic breasts, but on their frames they didn’t look unnaturally large. I remember their having naturally-shaped faces and figures.
I bought both Playboy issues with the Barbi twins when I was a teenager. The first one was topless only, the second was fully nude and they kept their muffs old school, not shaved. Very nice pics.
Those Extra TV pics were scary, but I think it was just crappy makeup.
It’s no big deal really. In one pic one has the other over her knee and is miming spanking. In another one is scolding the other with a pointed finger and is holding a banana in the other hand (and there is a bit of banana on the scolding finger). In another one is miming caning the other. In another one is leashed and is being walked like a dog.
