They buy national advertising. You personally may never get a Sonic. It depends on a lot of things. But it probably doesn’t make as much sense to buy advertising for the whole US and then exclude Baltimore.
According to their 10K, they are in 33 states and in 2006 signed exclusivity agreements with franchisors in 36 markets. So maybe they will make it up your way.
