I have a pint of orange extract that was opened in 2003. The bottle made a popping sound when I opened it. It still smells fine and tastes fine, although it tasted more like alcohol than oranges. Is it ok to use for baking? Can I use it the same amounts I normally would or should I make adjustments to the recipe?
