I know that in the cases of horses and cats, the cloned critter will have ‘access to’ the same hair colors from the donor DNA, but the color patterns can be very different. Does the same apply to dogs?
(It looks like Barbra Streisand’s dogs were pretty solidly colored, so I couldn’t tell from them.)
