Do I have an obligation to get vaccinated against flu?

I’ve had the flu a few times in my younger days (when I didn’t get flu shots). Getting the flu is a huge world of suck, and today I will do anything in my power to avoid it.

I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a flu shot nor can I remember the last time I got the flu. I’m certainly not against vaccinations. When I went back to college I had to get my MMR shot and I had no objections to getting them. They were even free. I don’t get a flue vaccine for purely selfish reasons. I’m generally healthy and I just don’t seem to get the flu for whatever reason.

Do people who cannot afford to get vaccinations have an obligation to get vaccinations?

Most county health departments provide flu vaccinations for free. I don’t know about your particular location, but you might want to check, before dismissing it.
