I just realized that I’ve hit a post count of 3k. So I suppose it’s time to check in: Does anybody around here actually get anything out of my posting?
Granted, I’m unlikely to change my posting habits anyway, but I’m curious about what y’all might have to say about it.
I think you’re asking does anybody here know you by name. Since your thread has fallen to the second page I’m gonna guess no.
However, do you contribute anything? Well, I’m responding to your OP, so, if you think about it, you have proof of a yes.
3000 posts in five years on this board just isn’t likely to stand out, but your 3000 posts in five years has garnered a specific number of response posts to your posts and and an indeterminate number of thoughts generated by your posts.
So, in response to the OP, yes, you’ve contributed something here.
Hey, I have 9000+ posts in 4 1/2 years, consisting mostly of self-pity and one-liners. If you do anything more substantive than that, you’re doing just fine.
