Are there any secrets to recovering that full loud whistle? I usually put the kettle on and then go upstairs to “compute”; there are times I do not hear it boiling. Assistance required. (not urgent)
Yes, if the whistle assembly doesn’t fit as snugly in the spout as it used to or one of the reeds breaks, then the whistle may get quieter or cease altogether.
