I wonder if said ex-poster was active in The Dysfunctional Family Circus.

That’s what the box says, very clearly, in large type, each word capitalized, directly below the ingredients.

That’s probably because it comes out of a box and is therefore inferior cake mix. Nothing wrong with proper home-made cake mix though, and I am quite sure I’ve never poisoned anyone with the stuff that gets baked in my kitchen. None of it comes pre-packaged though!

eating cake batter is not good but it is so tempting. best solution is when you make a cake then also make a batch of cookies. eat the cookie dough instead.

If I bake a batch of cookies my adult children will eat them all in a day. If I run out of time and put the batter in the fridge, it takes them a week to eat all the batter. I’m improving their health by letting them eat the batter.
