Do nudists have more house dust than me?

Many people reckon that house dust is mostly dead human skin.
Most people’s heads and hands are the only bits of them not covered in clothing, leading me to believe that the majority of this dead skin is from our heads or hands.

So do people who spend a lot of their time naked ( in the privacy of their own homes ) have more house dust than me?

Don’t you mean, 'Do nudists have more house dust than I?

If that’s the case, then what is happening to the dead skin from the rest of your body?

I think the implication is that it would be stuck in the clothing to be washed away, rather than shedding all over the place.

I’m a little skeptical of that claim.
From this page

What is in house dust?
The composition varies from house to house, but in general, you might find textile fibers, decomposing insect parts, pet dander, human and animal hair, food leftovers, pollen grains, mold spores, bacteria, skin flakes, insulation, sand, and the most likely offender, the dust mite and its fecal material.
Anyone want to test this theory out and report back in a couple of weeks?

gluteus : yes thats exactly what i mean.

erislover: yup thats what i was getting at.

So, this gets us to: will a hairy nudist have a greater volume of house dust than I?

I’m a hairy nudist, we’ll have to swap houses one day.

I live in a greenhouse!

Think this thread is dead.
