Do other animal species scare themselves on purpose?

Are we the only animal species to enjoy scaring itself on purpose?

Do you think there is a doggie equivalent to roller coasters?

Could cats tell each other ghost stories? (Maybe that’s why they are so jumpy)

Is it possible that extreme ocelots bungee jump when we are not looking?

Just curious.

Well, rabbits & squirrels sit in the path of an oncoming car until the very last instant.

I remember that squirrels used to like to tease our dogs and cats. Sometimes, they lost.

My mom has a cat who, whenever she has lit candles, likes to sit next to the candle, put it’s paw above the flame then jerk it back and lick it(apparently because it got burned). Then it will do it a couple more times.

I don’t know is the cat is trying to scare itself, if it’s stupid(not likely since it doesn’t do that in regards to anything else), has a short term memory, or is machocistic.

I used to go cliff diving, and I would take my sister’s lab with me. My sister wouldn’t jump off those rocks, but that dog would, nothing he liked more. And we are talking quite a distance here, he would hit the water and just sink, it would take a few seconds for him to come back up again.

I have never seen a dog since him that would do that.
