Do people still high-five?

Regarding missing on the high-five, I think this is an artifact of both people trying to move their hands at once. IMO the proper way to high five is that one person holds their hand up in the “offering a high five” gesture, and then the other person slaps their hand. The first person keeps their hand stationary. If you can’t hit a stationary target at arms length, then either you’re supremely uncoordinated (and I say that as someone who is notoriously uncoordinated myself), or more likely, you’re drunk.

Unfortunately still too common. It’s an expression that needs to go away completely.
