My wife doesn’t like donuts anymore, we still have donuts once or twice a month. But only in the dark and I can tell she is only having donuts because I want to.
Well, we just had a little munchkin last year. Prior to that there were donuts aplenty. Then I wasn’t allowed to even think about donuts for a while. Finally we remembered the recipe and began to have the occasional donut. Enough time has now passed that I’m happy to say that we’re both having our fill. Of course, now we’re thinking about another trip to the baker’s, so we’ll see.
Before I met my husband, i’d only had donuts once before and I think they were bad. Actually, I didn’t even want to have the donuts, they were just forced on me…but I’ve put that experience away and now I love donuts!
Although I find that because of my medication I can really finish eating donuts like I used to.
So my doctor gave me viagra…which is fine, except it means I can’t really have spontaneous donuts
As a single woman of character I shouldn’t even be having donuts, but I sneak one in from time to time. I just make sure I do it privately and of course alone and never in front of children. If I were to have donuts in front of children how would they ever listen to the lessons of how important donuts are when shared.
How I lust for the day when once again when I can share a donut. But for now I must do it in secret.
There, there. Do not be ashamed. I think almost everyone has had a donut in private, at one time or another. In fact, even though I enjoy donuts with my wife (especially the glazed!) I also have an occasional donut by myself.
I remember when I was young and all of the donuts seemed to be cream filled, or at least coated with an icing which I lusted to lick. But now I am older, and on the odd occasion where a young woman tries to offer me a donut, my wife will usually reprimand me quite severely. I can only shake my head and dream of how that donut might have tasted. Probably just dry and cakey.
I love donuts. My wife makes great donuts and I’ve had them for the last 13 years. They’ve become like good Krispy Kremes straight from the grocery store. But every now and then, I run across a Krispy Kreme store with the “HOT” light on. But I can’t have those donuts, even though they’d be fresh and creamy and new.
I’ve been going to the same bakery for years now, and well, I’ve tasted all the donuts. There are some that I like, there are some I’ve tasted only once, there are some I only have once in a blue moon.
But, the dough is basically the same, the only difference is the frosting. Some times chocolate, sometimes vanilla, and quite frankly, they’re all starting to taste alike.
I have given up on donuts…some of us seem destined never to have any pastries…oh well…I can enjoy other people having their donuts and I know I will never get into the bakery again.
