I migrated to Australia from the U.S. I absolutely abhor roaches and to my horrible realisation, not only does Australia have them en masse, but they are the biggest mofos I have ever seen! My husband, knowing my aversion, purchased a few of those ultrasonic bug repellers and, along with lots of boric acid, sprays, motels, disks, etc, our home is armed to the teeth. With the exception of the occasional mothra (what I call the big flying roaches -oh gawd!!!), our home is roach free. Occasionally I will find that one has crawled in from outside and I always find them dead, turned upside down right next to the downstairs ultrasonic repeller. Now, they may have been crap back when they first hit the market, but those suckers do work!
Ultrasonic repellers are completely worthless. You inferring an association where none exists. Those AU roaches are lovely beasts though.
Yep. They died from the poison, not the “repeller”, which as the name implies wouldn’t kill them anyway.
