Do we have to go 35 in a 45 zone AND ride the brakes?

Warning: Kind of disjointed, but so is my brain tonight.

Ok, I understand, you want to go 35 miles an hour. Fantastic, that doesn’t bother me at all. It’s when you add in the riding your brakes to the mix that I get bugged. Yes, I’ll pass you, if you would quit driving at the exact same speed as the fella next to you. If you want to flirt with him that badly (yes, I can see you), tell him to follow you, get in front of him and pull into a parking lot.

Next, to the wonderful lady today. You made a left turn. Great! But I’m approaching in the left hand lane, there’s another car in the right lane, where you want to be. What do you do? No, you don’t turn as far as the turn lane and stop to wait for a clear spot to go the rest of the way. You pull into my lane and stop. Then you quit paying attention to whether the right lane was clear, so you had no idea that you could get over.

I am working hard to change my Atlanta driving. But just because I live here now doesn’t mean that I’m going to drive like an idiot. It’s not my job to teach you all how to drive, either. So, here’s what I’ll do: control my temper and slow down. Here’s what you do: Pay attention to the road and don’t get mad and try to race me if I happen to pass you.
