Do you eat from food storage containers?

But, if you reuse your storage containers, they seem to last longer when they aren’t used for cooking.

Breakfast cereal used to be available in the little individual boxes that had perforated lines on them, where supposedly one could open them up and pour the milk right in. I don’t know anyone who ever did that.

They’re still available; and I did that.

There are only two reasons I don’t eat directly from the storage container: First, if I have multiple servings stored, and I only want to heat up one, I’ll transfer it to another dish. Second, most of my storage containers are old margarine tubs, and those don’t generally microwave well.

But if it’s a single serving in a microwavable container, or if it doesn’t need to be microwaved, why make extra work for myself?

I just ate last night’s dinner leftovers out of a tupperware(it was lunch today). I do it all the time.
