Occasionally. Sometimes, it’s just what we’re in the mood for.
Honestly, the only time I eat “breakfast foods” is at dinnertime. I can’t possibly deal with all that red meat, eggs, and fried starch when I’m still trying to wake up.
Yes, but not as frequently as eating dinner for breakfast. I have this brilliant idea for a fast food chain that serves cold pizza and fried chicken between 6am and 11am.
I did rotating shift work for many years so dinner and breakfast became just words without any real meaning as to what should be eaten for each one, now that I’m retired I eat whatever I feel like whenever I want
We have eggs for dinner once a week. This week it was fried eggs, fried plantains, black beans, 'cado, tortillas. Last week I made a frittata.
Moved from MPSIMS to CS.
With chocolate milk? I’M IN!!
We used to visit IHOP or Denny’s for dinner. Always ordered from the breakfast menu.
Poached eggs on toast is a quick and easy dinner. Sometimes I’ll have some left over ham that I heat in a skillet.
I usually have eggs a few times a month for dinner.
Interestingly enough I had salami and eggs for dinner a few days ago and it was the first time that I can think of that I have done that.
As a kid, I remember every once in awhile having breakfast for dinner. I do it more often now as an adult. We rarely eat big breakfasts in the morning. So having it for dinner is delicious. Once in a while I’ll make pancakes or waffles. Sometimes dunkin’ eggs (over easy), sometimes scrambled. Sometimes just I have a bowl of cereal with a couple of pieces of toast for dinner. Easy-peasy.
I used to meet friends one night a week for dinner and a beer or two. The club bistro had an all-day big breakfast: Grilled bacon, two eggs your way, pork sausage, mushrooms, grilled tomato, hash brown and toast, on the menu. Most weeks at least one of us would have it. I probably had it half the times that I went.
Breakfast for dinner is the best dinner. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
We occasionally eat “breakfast for dinner” to use up eggs when our hens are laying up a storm. However, it’s usually a fancier meal than standard breakfast. Fresh baked bread, smoked salmon or lox with onions in an omelet, fried potatoes, etc.
My wife makes us BFD a couple of times a month. We all love it. We never have breakfast together (my own breakfast is just a small glass of OJ, more often than not), so it’s a nice chance to enjoy a hearty meal together: usually pancakes or French toast and bacon, or ham, cheese and green pepper omelettes.
And hey, welcome, turbotnator!
Constantly. Pancakes, too. That’s why God invented Cracker Barrel.
Rarely I’ll make (or order at a Bob Evans before 2020 happened) scrambled eggs and bacon for dinner.
Would this count as breakfast for dinner: quiche and salad? I even push the boundaries a bit by sometimes including a side of bacon and maybe some toast with it.
I’m also a big fan of huevos rancheros any time of day. Throw in some warm tortillas and refries and I’m good to go.
I wonder how much an “all day breakfast menu” increased sales at some places? A number of them do it so it must have some advantages.
Actual breakfast for me is usually a bowl of cereal and milk, and I never eat cereal and milk any other time. But fried eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast, biscuits and gravy, hash browns? Sure, why not?
I throw together a quick and simple version of Spaghetti Carbonara for dinner sometimes, which contains bacon and egg. Don’t know if that counts.
