do you ever get this kind of headache?

Occasionally (if I were to estimate I’d say 3 times a year), I’ll get this weird headache that’s characterized by a mild burning sensation as opposed to a pain or an ache. It’ll go on and off, with the burning feeling coming every several minutes and lasting for several seconds.

I think that in the past my mom told me that she’ll occasionally get this type of headache, but I’m not positive and I can’t ask her because she’s asleep.

I’ve had it for about six hours now and ibuprofen hasn’t really helped. I’m overweight and have a history of hypochondria so naturally I worry that it’s a sign of a stroke or something, despite the fact that it’s happened in the past.

Have you guys ever had a headache like this?

I don’t know if this is what you mean by burning, but my migraines feel like someone is dripping hot liquid on my left temple. An icepack is helpful, but doesn’t really kill the thing.
