Do you give yourself something for Christmas?

My parents send me cash as a gift so I use that on myself. But yeah, I did splurge on two fancy ornaments for myself regardless of whether I see any cash from them. And I’m thinking about a tool storage cabinet…

Not really.
But when my wife asks what I want, I pretty much tell her and that’s what she gets me, so does that count? The main present she is giving me is doing the shopping for me.
In some instances - like if I want something for golf or my aquaria - it gets to be too much touble to specify exactly what I want, and doing so seems to cross the line from treating the gift giver as a mere messenger. In such instances, I’ll say, “What I really want for Christmas is xyz”, and we’ll agree that I’ll buy it and it will be my x-mas present.
She’ll do the same thing sometimes. I’ll come home from work and she’ll say, “Look what you bought me for Christmas/birthday/Tuesday/etc.” Sometimes she’ll have it wrapped so she has something to open.

I do. But, I usually plan to spend some money for things I want during the Christmas sale season. I’ll buy almost all my clothes during the back to school and Christmas shopping seasons.

I do, but at the sales.

It’s my new tradition to hit the boxing day at the yarn store, which has many good deals on yarn to keep me busy for most of the year.

Otherwise? Not really.

oh, ya! you betcha!

i’m more of a one for them, two for me type person (plus i really clean up on the after christmas sales). they don’t get wrapped, but do go in a basket and not used 'till christmas.
