I stopped trying to picture other board users in my head after a similar thread cropped up on another board [years ago] and I apparently mortally insulted someone by saying I thought he was like Lisa Simpson.
No I didn’t know he was male, and yes he did come across as an overachieving/over eager kid who had to be the first reply to any post, with full factual information with links and pics!!

I don’t really picture other Dopers, but you’ll all be happy to know that every one of you speaks with a Western Canadian accent in my head. 
I always think of Bricker and Miller as dapper, 3-piece-suit wearing white guys, with gold/diamond tie pins and lovely hair.
Shodan comes off as a middle aged guy who also dresses nicely and may be a few pounds overweight.
Everytime I read/see Diamonds02 I think of my sister’s ex-girlfriend, kinda butch, short blondish hair, etc.
Vinyl Turnip looks like a REALLY tall, very thin guy with short or balding hair.
When I think of Una Persson I get an image of Uma Thurman in a lab coat.
Starving Artist has a pencil thin mustache and a comb-over.
OMG a black conservative looks like a kid I knew named Dexter.
The list could probably go on but those are the ones I think of the most.
I don’t think my user name elicits many positive images let alone any that are accurate. That is one reason I picked it.
I didn’t before, but now I imagine Kozmik as John Malkovich.
Guinastasia makes me think of the opening scene in “Zack and Mira Make A Porno” - attractive female but wearing a Penguins jersey.
That’s exactly what I think as well (see last picture).

I’m not going to say who, but I’ve made some kind of random connection between a doper and a guy who looks like Chevy Chase (now, like on Community) wearing yachting clothes. There’s no reason behind it, just one of those things.
I’ve always pictured cmyk as this.
What is that? I live in western Canada, but I’m unsure how a “western Canadian” accent differs from that which I’ve heard in Montana, Colorado, Washington, and (for that matter) Illinois.

FYI - I, apparently, bear more than a passing resemblance to Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, even down to the little scar on the forehead. I do not approve :mad:
I had/have mental images for just about four people on here:
1.) Cat Whisperer - When I learned she was a middle-aged Canadian woman I pictured Laura Linney. Not sure why.
2.) MeanOldLady - I pictured a mean, old white lady until I learned she was black. When I eventually did see a picture of her it was about what I expected.
3.) Diogenes the Cynic - It was a long time until I saw a picture of him and he looks exactly as I expected him to.
4.) DiosaBellissima - I don’t know what she really looks like but in some thread someone said that we both have awesome hair. Ever since then I’ve imagined her as a woman with an outrageously-awesome pompadour and I’m desperate to not have this mental image ruined for me.
That’s about it.
I don’t necessarily see Dopers as clones of celebrities, but I know the mental images I form are always wrong. On the other hand, once I actually meet folks for real, I usually find that their usernames fit.
Whatever it is, I’m sure I’m handsome and have a great chin.
