I don’t really think about what these people look like, but I know I have a different take than you on most of them. Just goes to show.
Everyone on the boards here basically sounds just like me in my head (even the people from places where I know they would have an accent). 
Wow, that’s uncanny! 
I have about 340 hand-crafted sock puppets for just about everyone I run into on this board. I don each one on my hands and act them out with different voices as I read through threads. Everyone has buttons for eyes.
I think it’s ruining my marriage.
Someone else said that once..it’s a flattering image, to be certain. The problem is, Uma is about 6 inches taller than me.

I picture pretty much everyone as a disembodied internet brain.
I tend to picture most of the female posters as in their thirties or so, I guess. No real specifics though.
I see the mods as powerful overseers. Well, at least as pictures of authority.
And the guys…well, hm. I kinda “hear” Chefguy as someone with a deep voice, no clue why. I think of most guys as in their thirties or forties too. A few of us that I’ve read are around college age (Malleus comes to mind) I put in their twenties.
Why? No clue. Just the “voice” I hear in posts, maybe.
I picture you as a skinny guy who hangs around in a pool hall in the 1920s, wearing a pin-striped suit and a fedora. You got your nickname from playing craps. I imagine your friends saying, “You want in, you gotta talk to Shakes, see?”

Here’s the real me. That’s actually not all that far off the mark.
The odd thing is, I swear, yesterday a random dude in the supermarket came up to me with his girlfriend, asked me if I knew how to cook. I said yes. He said he liked to watch Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, and showed me a pack of mixed frozen seafood (calamari, crab, shrimp, whoknowswhatelse) and asked me how to cook it, Asian-style. (I gave him a basic oyster sauce-type stir fry recipe.) So, apparently, even random strangers can feel the Andrew Zimmern vibe coming off me…
Ummm, I’m betting 99 44/100% of The Dope “may be a few pounds overweight”…

Since I found the Photo Gallery I sometimes “go see if I can see 'em.” They look like regular people.
The ones I have to imagine are much more esoteric.
