Now, no offense to Guin, because she knows I love her, but I think she’s everyone’s thread soulmate.

I don’t think I have a thread soulmate. Alas, alas. Maybe if we had more threads about coelacanths, I could find that one person who shares my interest in ancient endangered fish that live by the Comoros Islands.

For whatever reason, I often end up in the same threads expressing somewhat similar opinions as the following people:

Sublight
KK Battousai

I think, for the last two at least, our similar taste in movies is the cause of this. (Japanese horror is the bomb!)

In a recent GD thread, I found myself debating on the same side as Daniel Withrow, about which I was pretty pleased, since I’ve read his posts frequently and he seems like a very intelligent and well-spoken poster.

I think that my posting on the SDMB is very similar to my normal life. No attachments, no major relationships. C’est la vie.

I confess to doing regular vanity searches, and in the few instances when my name’s been brought up spontaneously in a thread, it’s almost always been by ratty (which is how I found this one), so I guess that would make her (you’re female, right?) my soulmate.

Some others I seem to synch up with are Tsubaki and Astroboy14.
