The local NPR station I listen to most now has two additional HD channels. I’ve read up about HD radio, I know what it is, how it works, and all that.
What I want to know is if you have it, like it, hate it.
I don’t have HD radio and I’ll be interested in the responses of this thread. Honestly, I’m still not too sure that it really exists.
Our two nearby NPR stations (WBST and WFYI) broadcast in HD. One of my house radios is going El Fucko, so I had Mrs. Nott look up HD radios. Apparently, you can get a shower HD radio from NPR, and you can get The World’s Most Expensive Clock Radio in HD. So, it seems to be a technology Ahead Of Its Time. Sometimes that’s a good thing, and sometimes it isn’t. Imagine being the gal who built the 1920s Style Death Ray in 1917! :eek:
