I must confess…I haven’t even bought candy! MIGAWD, thew Halloween stuff is already on sale…and(even more ominous) the Xmas stuff is ALREADY in the stores.

Hell, pretty soon it’ll be time to get ready for July 4th! 
This is why I have kept the Christmas tree up for the last two years.
You’re jumping the gun a bit there ralph124c. First comes Thanksgiving when you need to get ready for Valentine’s Day. You don’t start getting ready for the Fourth until the week before Christmas. 
A serious answer: No lights, but this weekend I plan to go get my pumpkins. My SO and I put two up every year, carving them the way we like it.
No. We live in an apartment. I think if the trickortreaters enter the building we’ll pass out tablespoons of flour. Don’t call us party poopers.
My son had his pumpkin carved, flashing light pumpkin, spider webs, and decorations up a few weeks ago!
Kee-rist . . . I live in NJ, Ground Zero for Tacky Lawn Crap, and people had their glittery witches, huge inflatable pumpkins, “funny” gravestones up two weeks ago.
I swear one woman at the end of the block already has her St. Paddy’s Day leprechaun out.
I live in an apartment, too actually. By the time I get home - 5:30 - most of the kids are done. (What’s that all about? When I was a kid, after a certain hour, my parents would drive me from house to house).
But I like giving it out to the ones that are left anyway. Plus the pumpkins sit so nicely on our balcony.
I took them down last Sunday to put up the Christmas lights.
