Rather than dwell on it, I tend to just write someone who has wronged me off and forget about them.
My family has a history of grudge holding. Two of my aunts had some sort of argument in the late 1940s. They never spoke again. They lived in the same neighborhood, shopped at the same stores and attended the same church but treated each other as total strangers for the rest of their lives.
