Dayum. :smack: Let me 'splain. I had a stroke and lost part of my vision. It’s called right-field defect. I always mean to check to the right, but since it’s not there anymore, I tend to forget it’s there…anymore.
I’m sure it would come down solely to the price offered.
My mother told me that as a '70s-era peacenik, she couldn’t fathom ever causing anyone physical harm. Once she had us kids it dawned on her that she would kill or be killed in order to protect us.
I don’t know if that still holds now that I’m an adult, but if push came to shove I’m guessing she, my father, and possibly one of my brothers would kill or sacrifice their lives for me. Of course, I wouldn’t let them do so if I had an ounce of control over it, as I’d rather give my own life for them.
I would have thought the vast majority of parents would (at least take a very high risk of) killing someone or dying to save their children, even if we don’t want to think about it. I’m surprised so many people said “no-one”.
I don’t know about the “murder” option: there seems a lot of ground between “they attacked my child and I had a pretty good idea they were going to do it again if they ever got out of jail, so I didn’t hold back when restraining them” and “I can’t tell you why but please please please go to this address and kill the innocent person who comes to the door, I can’t tell you why, but do it for me”…
