Do you know anyone IRL with a Wikipedia page

Unless my brother’s band has one, I don’t.

A good number of people. I don’t particularly feel like naming them but several people I know from college have Wikipedia pages on them, including my roommate of three years. Heck, I’m even mentioned on a Hungarian Wikipedia page for my involvement with a band there (although that’s under the band name, not mine). If you count Hungarian Wikipedia and English Wikipedia, there’s at least a couple dozen people I know who have pages.

Yes.

I’ve known several people in the past who now have Wiki pages, but nobody I’m currently in touch with.

I lost my virginity to a guy who has his own Wikipedia page.

Yep.

Not a person, as such, but where I used to work. Those who know me on here can guess which I mean.

Yes. My current Head of Chambers. My former boss. Lots of people. Who knows maybe one day I will have my own.

Yes - many singers, directors, writers and poets with whom I’ve worked have their own Wiki pages. I don’t have one yet, though.

Yes, all prominent enough in their particular industry for someone to have decided they warranted such a page.

One ex-girlfriend who went on to become well-known in her field of academia. Several friends who are or were MPs in Australia.

Two off the top of my head.

Both are relatives, one a playwright (now deceased) and one a screenplay writer(elderly but still pluggin’ along).

Oh, and a third - a family friend who is a retired Navy admiral & was Director of National Intelligence.

Yes. I wrote them. One is still up but with a relevance challenge (ha!), another is still up and unchallenged three years later.

A handful of professors I took classes with have their own wiki page.

Quite a few. The Atlanta Nights page gives links to a lot of them. There are also dozens of other SF writers who I’m friends with and who are listed in Wikipedia.

Yep, a future brother-in-law is a folk musician, well-known in very esoteric circles.

Two people I went to high school with have pages that I know of. One is a semi famous internet celebrity and the other is a music producer. I think the music producer made his own page but I guess it counts.

One a Hollywood director/artist. Old high school chum.

A few off the top of my head. It doesn’t take a whole lot of fame to have a Wikipedia page. One of the ones I know is actually quite famous in general. Some of the others are well known in their professions.

A few. My husband’s grandfather (although he was long dead when we married, so I guess I don’t “know” him - but my kids are descended from him - and a number of wiki entries) . A number of SF writers. Some folks in the gaming industry.
