I have a friend who was famous on the Internet, and he’s got a page. I know a fairly famous guitarist who has a page. The other two are whole bands that I am friendly with.
I wish I knew some noteworthy people outside of entertainment. Heh.

I don’t know if it counts. I play trivia almost every Sunday night with this guy. His wikipedia page is about the boat he captians.
Sure, a few of the psychologists I studied under in undergrad and grad school. One even turns up in the news once a year or so due to his work.
Quite a few, mostly musicians. Most I’ve edited, a handful I’ve created (and successfully defended when challenged on notability). I’ve been adding freely distributable photos to musician pages recently, and fully expect to see one or more of them used on a concert poster one of these days.
Yep, a couple.
Does anybody know how many people have articles on Wikipedia? It would be interesting to figure out what percentage of people in the world, or in America are considered notable enough to have articles. I’m not sure how you’d count them, though. Would you restrict it to Americans, if you’re dividing into the American population? Famous people tend to move around. You might want to restrict them to living persons, or to persons born in the last 100 years if you’re trying to quantify how likely someone is to have met or known a famous person.
I’ve briefly met a few people who have articles on them, but I wouldn’t say I know them.
I have a page on my watchlist that belongs to my cousin’s cousin. He’s mildly controversial and therefore a target for vandalism, so I just keep an eye on it. I did remove some info from the article that seemed exaggerated and wasn’t backed up by sources, and I suspect at some point he’s added portions of the article himself.
Yes - a couple of members of parliament, as well as several bishops.
One of my professors in college definitely has one, since he once was the Democratic presidential nominee.
A very controversial former friend turned enemy was constantly editing his own Wikipedia page.
None that I chum around with, but several people who are acquaintances, distant relatives or childhood friends. These include a prominent journalist in Australia, an English MP, a very successful retired American cartoonist, and a man who was, in the 1990’s, perhaps the most vilified person in Britain.
At least three of my grad school professors, all of whom are bigwigs in their fields. (One is a MacArthur Grant winner, one is a retired ambassador who’s now a member of a UN watchdog board, that sort of thing.)
My brother married into a family that boasts a serial killer. We met him before it was found out, and he now has a Wikipedia page.
Notable, but is it verifiable?
Is that what got him the Wikipedia article?
You must be some girl.
I used to walk home from school with someone who is now a Federal Judge.
Quite a few scientists. An astronaut I used to date. The artist I collaborated with on a bird guide, although he’s in there due to his former career as a rock musician. Christopher Reeve, who was in the same dorm in college. I’m sure there are others.
I’m listed as a taxonomic expert on birds on WikiSpecies, and am cited a couple of times on Wikipedia itself, but I don’t have my own page (yet ;)).
Lots. My husband has one, and he is not famous or wealthy.
I know a few former major league baseball players with pages on wikipedia. One of them is a very notable pitcher from the 50’s. One is not very notable other than he was suspended a few years ago for testing positive for steroids (that pretty much ended his MLB career). The others were only in the bigs for a cup of coffee, and frankly I’m surprised they have pages.
My brother’s father-in-law, and the person who performed my brother and his wife’s wedding, and I met several at the wedding who also have pages.
If by this one you mean Stansfield Turner, my people know yours. He might even have been there, too, but I didn’t meet him.
