Do you know anything about historical and present Panamanian wages?

I am researching various issues related to Panama and I sort of need an answer by morning. Anyone know, or know where I could find, info on the wages of government employees in Panama and what the last few wage increases were? Anyone know or know where I could find the same information for employees who work at the ports/docks? Anyone feel like helping me look? I know this is a fascinating thread, yes.

And sorry I forgot – anybody know what the regulatory agency in Panama is that regulates industrial safety? (Like OSHA?) Not in the Canal Zone, but at the ports outside the canal zone. If there is something not OK with asking people to help me with research, sorry in advance.

You might try PMing Colibri. He lives there.

Good to know, thanks.

Per the CIA World Factbooklisting Panama has the highest per-capita income in its region but it also “has the second worst income distribution in Latin America”.

This site doesn’t give its sources but seems well put together anyway. According to it

Thanks much.
