Do you log out of Facebook?

I log out on my laptop because my son uses it as well. I never log out on my phone or my iPad.

This. Every time I walk away from the computer, I close my browser and have everything set to not remember who I am.

Which FB IGNORES every once in a while and remembers me anyway.

I haven’t had to log out of anything for about 4 years now (since I live alone and am the only one using this computer).

This time with viral bovine video?

One does not simply log out of Facebook.

Ovine, not bovine.

meme fail

Funny that no one has brought up this, from the WSJ.

Facebook on Monday defended its practice of gathering data from “Like” buttons even after users have logged out, saying that the collection is part of a system to prevent improper logins and that not all of the data is logged. [emphasis added]

Does that change anyone’s mind? Or is it futile to resist Facebook?
