Do you need accommodations for a trip to a Disney destination?

Due to an uncertainty in how many points I would need to use for our family reunion this year, I have 111 Disney Vacation Club (DVC) points that have to be used by January 31, 2014 or they will expire. They can be used at any Disney resort/hotel world wide except for the Value Resorts at Walt Disney World: All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports, Pop Century, and Art of Animation. Resorts with DVC villas attached are also exempted except for Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel in Anaheim. What that means is if there are no DVC villas available at that resort, you cannot get a room in the regular hotel with DVC points. They can even be used for camping spots at the Fort Wilderness Campground at WDW if you have an RV! If you don’t like theme parks, they can be used at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii, Vero Beach Resort in Florida, or Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.

You can find point charts for DVC resorts here: DVC Resorts | DVCNews.com - The essential Disney Vacation Club resource!

And for the other hotels here: Non-DVC Destinations | DVCNews.com - The essential Disney Vacation Club resource!

I would like to get US $9.00 per point used, but I will consider any reasonable offer! It helps to be flexible with your arrival dates, and you will need to give 2-3 resort/accommodation preferences in case your first choice is not available. I’m happy to help you plan, or answer any questions about how the point system works; just send me a PM.

I can’t read the charts you linked to. How many points for a full hook up camp site? I have rented/bought points at other DVC props before and would be very interested in them at the campground.

What dates are you interested in?

We are planning a trip to DL this sept. Sounds interesting.

Do you have firm dates? PM me!

Not until after this weekend. Now talking small room, grand Californian , how much are we talking?

What is a point?

How much will depend on when.

Points are the time share “currency” that are redeemed for accommodations.

Ah, “Adventure” season. I see the chart there. So, about $150 nite for the studio, eh? Sounds great. As soon as my SO gets back, I will let you know.

It’s looking like early Sept, and maybe one day in later oct which costs more. I assume a deal if we buy all?

You bet.

The DVC villas fill up quickly, but if a studio isn’t available, I should be able to book a regular room.

Points are rented! Thank you!
