Do you own both foreign and domestic vehicles?

We have a Saturn and a Land Rover. Of course Land Rover is owned by Ford now, but the vehicle was made in England.

Mix.

I drive a Mini Cooper (German / English), Mrs. Six drives a vintage Mustang.

mrs. longhair drives a 2003 toyota rav4
older daughter has a 2004 jeep grand cherokee
younger daughter has a 2004 jeep wrangler
i have a 1983 ford f-150 4x4 that i almost never drive
my company vehicle is a 2003 dodge ram 4x4 pickup

Subaru Impreza
Dodge Dakota Quad Cab

But I would never have bought the Dodge if Subaru made a decent-sized truck.

W-650’s are allright but “don’t you blaspheme in here!”

1997 Ford F-150.
And the motorcycles:
1966 BSA 650 Hornet.
1952 Triumph TRW.
1936 BMW R2.

Unclviny

Both cars are mutants:

1994 Ford Escort SW (basically a Mazda 323)
1996 Geo Prizm (a Toyota Corolla in disguise)

2001 Dodge Van (Full size)

1991 Honda Civic, one owner, low miles

1 Lexus
1 Volvo
1 Chrysler

The Lexus is the most reliable (269,000 miles and still counting!) while the Volvo and Chrysler are both high mileage, but have issues!

2001 Toyota Corolla for Drachillix
2001 Chevy Cavalier for Cyn

Sister - Daewoo Nubria
Parents - For work, my dad drives a Chevy truck of some sort. A box deal, really. My mom drives a Chrysler Town and Country. You could consider the last one domestic although Chrysler does a lot of outsourcing to Mexico, so I hear.
Myself - … Don’t have anything at the moment and don’t really have any specifications, although a Honda would be nice.

Hubby drives a 2001 Ford Ranger.
I drive a 2002 VW Passat.

1999 Jeep Cherokee (U.S.)
1966 MGB (UK, undergoing restoration)
1994 Yamaha XJ600 Seca II (Japan)
2003 Yamaha YZF-R1 (Japan)
2004 Mercury 14’ inflatable with 25hp Mercury motor (U.S.)

FaerieBeth drives a 2002 Honda CRV
Stonebow drives a 2000 Toyota Camry

Some days we switch just to confuse our children and coworkers. No domestic cars, here, and when we buy again, it’ll be another Honda. I love that CRV, and the car before it was a 1994 Honda Accord (may it rest in peace). I drove the hell out of that thing!

2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab

1997 VW Jetta
If I could afford to, I would buy a Toyota Tundra (quad cab) truck and get a Lexus four door (like the 300) foy my wife and two kids.

We went from Dodge + Ford --> Subaru + Ford --> Subaru + Subaru.

We’re currently all foreign -
2004 Audi A4 (mine)
2005 Nissan Murano (husbands)
1996 Honda Accord (was mine, now the kids)

We have only ever owned two American cars - a 1991? Eagle Vision and a 2000 Buick Rendezvous. I didn’t like either one of those vehicles, and it seemed like there was always something going wrong with them. Most of our cars over the years have been Honda Accords.

We currently own a Hyundai Santa Fe and an Infiniti J30. Our previous generation of cars was a Honda Civic and a Volvo 740 wagon.

Most days;
2004 Chevy Z71

Toys;
1986 Honda Transalp
1995 Triumph Tiger
1998 Honda CBR1000
2000 Yamaha Blaster
2003 Polaris

Piles of parts;
1985 Honda 200S
1977 Motor Morini

2 American, 4 asian, 2 european.

Pretty fair balance.

1986 Isuzu Trooper II (built in Japan)
1995 Subaru Impreza (built in Japan)
2000 Ford Windstar
1989 Mercury Topaz

Only two really good cars in that list. The Windstar’s okay if you like vans, and the Impreza is nice. The Trooper didn’t seem so bad 20 years ago, but it’s definitely showing its age, and I don’t know what Grandpa was thinking when they bought the Topaz. I hate that car.

2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab
2002 Dodge Intrepid ES

1966 Dodge Charger (in process of full restoration)
