I wanted to do this with our bath water because I like green stuff outside, and hate wasting otherwise usable water. But doesn’t the soap mess with the soil pH or something? Or do you use nature-lover’s soap for this particular application? (I think I’m gonna have to take a GQ pretty soon.)

I live in a (heh) city. However, other comments about a septic system makes me aware that when we finally find that house on acreage, I’m going to have to pay attention to what kind of septic system it is, so I don’t mess it up. I’ve been peeing in the shower for so many years, I dunno how much luck I’d have trying to change.
