We all know that they’re out there. But do you know anyone personally that believes the world is ending?
What are they up to these days?
I met a True Believer about 3 years ago, but never really got a chance to talk to her about it. Probably fortunate.
I have a current friend that sorta kinda believes it, but when pressed, doesn’t seem terribly concerned. She and her friends have plans for Saturday night, and she’s already planning her June vacation.

Not to sound like James Bottomtooth or anything, but I wouldn’t associate with people who honestly believed that, because presumably they are nuts in other ways as well.
Nope. And I do associate with a lot of nutty people.

Yup. My little sister, and she’s 12. Perfect age for that nonsense.
I believe it is a new beginning, the end of a age, which is also a start of a new age. I do suspect many lives will be changed and head in different directions then they were heading. Overall a very good thing.

What will be the outward, physical evidence of this turning point? Or is it all spiritual?
Wait a minute, that already happened last Wednesday.
And every other day ever.
I don’t know anyone who is taking the December 21 thing any more seriously than any other failed doomsday prediction. They’re joking about it, mostly. Nobody’s madly repenting sins and giving away possessions, and nobody is stockpiling canned goods and bottled water for the zombie apocalypse. I don’t think I could remain in the same physical space as someone who truly believed it was the end of all things, because I’d get too annoyed.
I’ve read somewhere it’s a bigger deal in Asia than in our hemisphere; places like Thailand and China.

Not odd, I hear about goats being tried and executed for sorcery in some places, for christ’s sake…
My take on it is some people will find themselves given what I would call divine favor, opportunities and the like will just fall into their lap and they will go on to do great things. I also believe the people ready for this know it in their heart already.
As for why now as opposed to some other ending calendar? Those other ones would signify a great time for other people, so they are equally as valid for those people.
Do I care to present evidence of this? no, there is no point, for each soul there is a time, and when that time is right the soul will know it in their heart.

So basically it’s going to be a Friday.
My take on it is to many it will appear as a Friday, and it will just go down as just another ‘end of the world’ doomsday predictions that never come true. But to those who know it will be truly a new beginning.
Yes, but it only has to happen once. 
If the world is to end soon, can it at least wait until the morning of January 2, so we can get a few extra days off before it all goes?
