Do you think this is a good price?

We’ll be spending 2 weeks over Thanksgiving down on the Gulf of Mexico again, so I decided that we should buy the tickets now to save some $$$$. I went through every internet place I could, and finally got the lowest price on Priceline. I had to bid several times to get that price. I could have saved an additional $11 a ticket, but then we’d have had to fly out of Chicago, and it’s not worth the hassle. Plus the parking expense would eat that savings up.

Milwaukee to Tampa, round trip, $179 per ticket. I got the same tickets one time for $129 round trip, but that wasn’t for a flight during a holiday. So did I do alright? Or should I have kept looking? The next cheapest were at Travelocity, and they were $207 round trip.

Sounds pretty good to me. Other sites to try are Orbitz and Qixo. Sometimes there are Internet only rates on the airlines’ direct sites, too.

Airfares are pretty cheap right now. That seems like a good price to me. For reference, a flight from Seattle to Columbus, Ohio (round-trip) usually costs somewhere in the neighborhood of $400, and I just bought one for $189.
