It’s a total bore. Maybe I watched a few minutes a year when I was little, but I completely avoid it now. I don’t even care much about the Rose Bowl game anymore, except that it is pretty enjoyable seeing the Big Ten team make a complete fool of itself every year.
I quit watching after they got rid of Jean Louisa Kelly.
I flipped past it a couple times this morning, though. Streetcar made of flowers, Mexican trick ropers, yadada yadada etc.
My kids love to watch it, and I take a few minutes to admire a float every so often. They’re much more fascinated than I am, though. I used to feel just the same when I was little.

In L. A., 50 is dang cold. Yes.
Nope. Too early for me to bother. And I live one block away from Colorado Blvd (the parade route).
