On weekends I usually sleep later, unless I’m going on some sort of trip or daytrip that necessitates me getting an early start. One thing I like to do on weekends if I can is sleep until I wake up, no alarm.
I go to bed about the same time every night. Set the alarm for 6 a.m. every day but Sunday or vacation. On those days, I generally find myself waking by 6:15 or so. Even If I stay up late the night before (which doesn’t happen often), I doubt I’d sleep past 6:30.
I don’t have a job and my sleeping habits change every night.
Maybe a little sometimes. I usually go to bed between 10PM and 11PM, and get up between 5AM and 6AM. Early morning, before other folks are up and about, is my favorite time of day. It’s not quite the same in the winter because it’s dark, but it’s still nice to have the world mostly to myself.
Those times might shift an hour or so on the weekend, but usually not. Saturdays are almost always dinner out with friends, and those might run later, but not much. When I was younger, sure. But not so much anymore.
Alarm set for 0600 on weekdays and 0700 on weekends. But that is offset by later bedtime on weekends - in theory. In practice, I’ll often get in bed with the intention to watch TV, but fall asleep not much later than my normal sleep time.
Checking my FitBit sleep log, I appear to get about 45 mins or so extra sleep on weekends.
Typically wake up an hour later (well, I set my alarm an hour later. sometimes I wake uo at the same time, sometimes not)
I usually stay up later Saturday night (catch the SNL Weekend Update).

Doing the same amount of sleep at the same time of day every day is the ideal. I pretty much stick to that when not working.
When working I’m stuck with significantly varying times and durations of sleep. And hence lots of make-up sleeping including naps when practical. Just in the last 3 days I left for work at 5am, 9am, then 5am again. With correspondingly offset quitting times.
I manage which jobs I take on specifically to avoid the worst of the circadian disruption. At some cost in reduced wages. That stuff ages you fast; I’ll pass insofar as possible thank you.
When I was working, I always felt that sleeping in on the weekend was a waste of my time off. I may have gotten up a bit later than on weekdays, but no snoozing half the morning away.
I look forward to Moanday mornings…when I can sleep in & get up to go to work.
Many’s a weekend morning where I’m up & out well before sunrise. There may be a (necessary) nap later, but still less sleep than a weekday. I guess I could find different hobbies? Nah!
Yup.
Schooldays, up at 5 am. Often I am awake before then but rarely get up. Saturdays, the alarm is off unless we have plans, and I sleep later. Sundays, up at 8 for church.
Once school’s out, I my sleep pattern shifts about 2-3 hours later, except for Sundays.
My sleeping patterns are very erratic. I can not seem to keep to a proper schedule. I never get enough sleep. Since childhood I always resented sleeping. I was certain all the fun would start as soon as I closed my eyes.
