I’m certain that most of you do not support the murders of physicians, nurses and other co-workers, not to mention passersby and public safety officers endangered by violent tactics. But it’s still difficult for such groups to make simple, unambiguous statements after such tragedies that violence in the service of their cause is utterly wrong and totally repudiated. The urge to use the event as a propaganda forum is too strong, despite the message that it sends.

I followed the links above (again) and found they still have not identified the suspect.

The suspect is still unidentified. He has been charged as “person unknown”.

The newest piece of information is that, when he was apprehended, he was found to be carrying a couple of bits of metal that may (police & media speculation alert) have been intended to “lock” the clinic’s doors - by sliding them over the door handles and screwing them in place, the door handles would have been immobilised. The clinic only had two entrances, and once he used these metal thingos to block them off, he would have had free rein.
