Doctor Who

Tom Baker wrote a book about his life and his acting career. I think he was an excellent Dr. Who, and the book suggests why, because it shows what an unusual life he led.

Sorry, I can’t remember the title…

When I first started watching Dr. Who regularly years ago, the local PBS station happened to be in the Peter Davison years, which is why he’s one of my favorites. I didn’t know that much about Dr. Who, so I thought he’d be there for a good long while. Then “The Caves of Androzani” came along, Davison exited and I was so irritated that I refused to give the new guy a chance. But recently, when I noticed that Colin Baker was showing, I decided to see what was going on.

Tom Baker was also the evil wizard in one of the many incarnations of the Sinbad movies. I’m not sure which one, but I believe it was the one with Patrick Wayne.
