Does anybody know/remember this band?

There was/is an American folk/pop-ish band made up of maybe four to six raven haired beauties, possibly sisters who played sort of celtic/irish cross-over stuff and I think that there were a couple of fiddles in the band and possibly a bodhrán (or Irish folk drum). I used to hear them and see the odd video of them back in the early 2000s. For us Canadians they would be similar to the Rankin Sisters and maybe Shaye as well.

I think they had a popular song called “Radio” or something like that.

I had completely forgotten about them until, for whatever reason, they just popped into my brain yesterday but I can’t remember what they’re called. Can anybody here tell me who they are?

Thanks

The Corrs

They are Irish.

Edited to add: there really is a Wikipedia page for that song, but the board software doesn’t like links that end in ) for some reason. Lame.

SJL4041 - Yes! Thanks for that. For some reason I thought that they were American.

I actually own 3 of their CDs. And I’m of the opinion that their best song was “I Never Loved You Anyway”.

Saw the Corrs in concert once, which was wonderful. They have broken up since, they all got families and decided to move on.

Poor Jim, the homely and largely forgotten brother.

GuanoLad, I’m sure it didn’t diminish your experience in any way that Andrea Corr is one stunningly beautiful woman.

All three of the sisters are. I was actually captivated by Caroline on the drums, I have a thing for female drummers for some reason.

“So Young” is one of my all-time favorite songs.

The band was made up of 3 sisters and a brother.

Only the autoparser. If you use the link button, creating a link, it works just fine.

Like so.

Just wrapping it in a URL tag without getting fancy with the link works too: Radio (The Corrs song) - Wikipedia
