Veb, I can relate to that. When I came home from the hospital, the dog went absolutely ballistic. For three days, every time I made a move, he was there. I think he was afraid I was going to leave again.
My dog, Watson, adores me, but my older dog, Molly, I think she pretends, just to get a dog bone, big faker!
My oldest son adores me, my younger son just cares that I keep showing up around the house.

Hey, I’ve got my reasons… 
that just reminds me of when i was moving my room downstairs and came up for the last little pile of whatevers left in the middle of the floor, and there was çebeaux looking quite uncomfortable, sprawled out over the pile looking horribly sad. it’s obvious he thought i was leaving and was trying to hold me back. it was the cutest thing i’d ever seen.
çebeaux by the way, is my cat, (and best friend) and i know for certain that he adores me, but then i adore him in return.
if wishes were fishes, we could walk on the ocean.
