Does anyone care to mourn the salsa of the 70s and 80s?

I just mean, i dug up Niche’s “Me huele a matrimonio,” and while it’s not technically as rich as some of the New York Fania stuff (and in a completely differently league from modern Cuban timba), it’s still better than anything that Marc Anthony has tried (what a retard!).

And while we’re at it, why have so many Spanish-language radio stations banned modern Cuban music since the mid 90s? Is it because of anti-Castro Cuban ownership? Have you heard Los Van Van or Bamboleo on any US station recently?
