Radio Espantoso!

The more I listen to this CD the more I love it.

But I’ve got some questions-- I listened to Salsa in the '80s but it was mostly, no totally, the Fania Allstars (El Gran Combo, Willie Colon, Celia Cruz. . .) and the only artist I recognize on the CD is Tito Puente.

Are these songs really all from the '80s? Does anyone know if the original albums are out on CD? I’m most interested in: Deodato, Cachao and Machito and his Afro-Cuban Orchestra.

And just to prove that all my taste can be found directly on my tongue-- my absolute favorite song on the whole entire Vice City CD set is Unaesta’s La Vida es Una Lenteja

They’re not from the 80’s. I’m pretty sure, don’t have the album here, there’s a track by Beny More and he died in the 60’s. I’m also pretty sure that Machito was not recording in the 80’s. But I think the concept is that these are songs played on Radio Espantoso in the 80’s, and that would’ve included songs recorded previously.
