Perhaps it’s because I’m a movie-junkie, but I’ve noticed that most of the dreams I remember unfold like a movie. There are flashbacks, changing points of view, zoom ins and outs, establishing scenes where I’m not even there yet, even the occasional repeat of a moment from a different angle. Am I alone in this, or do any of you dopers out there experience the same thing?

Yes, I’ve had dreams that switch back and forth between me watching the dream as an outside ovserver to participating in the dream. It’s pretty common for me, though a lot more so since video games started having more realistic graphics - a large portion of my dreams begin with me playing a game and end up with me being IN the game.
