Yeah, you wouldn’t ‘visit’ the shops, you go to the shops, just like you go to the doctor.
Anyway, I have just realised why I have heard the phrase “Looking…” so much. Its because I work in vehicle service, and have spent a lot of time around parts sales counters. So every day I would hear some variant on,
“How ye, I’m looking a starter for a 06’ Midlum/looking a clutch for a Premium, etc etc”.
(Important: Must be spoken as if from countryside…)
