My sleep schedule is messed up when a butterfly flaps its wings in the Amazon, frankly.
I have awful insomnia problems.

I have never been bothered until the last few years- When I turned 35, it started being an issue. Ditto jet lag…
It throws me off for a few weeks. I think it’s because it’s suddenly dark when I have to wake up, and it takes me a while to get used to it. The time change in the fall doesn’t bother me so much.
This is pretty much where I stand. I’m not having insomnia, but I’m dead on my feet and just want to sleep the clock around, day after day.
I wonder if some people are more in tune with circadian rhythms or something, and this arbitrary clock changing bothers us more. I know that I can set my body to wake up at any time, and I wake up right at that time (without looking at the clock - I keep the clock beside my bed covered up).
I’m usually at work, so less one hour of work for me! Yesss!!
I wake up when the alarm goes off, or I have to pee, or the SO texts me to roust me from bed. The sun itself doesn’t wake me, because many times I sleep well past sunrise…and my window faces East! But if I close the curtains, I will oversleep, no matter what time of year, and it frustrates the cats, and since no one can see in…they stay open.
I walked into the grocery store today and two young moms were standing there talking with their kids, and one asked the other how they were coping with the time change. The second one said, “Oh, not well at all, we’re all tired, and this one is having stomach issues now from it.” I did not hang about to find out what stomach issues a 5 year old could possibly have from his bedtime/wakeup time shifting a bit.
No. It’s just an hour. It’d be like having jet lag after flying to the next time zone over.
Absolutely true. My circadian rhythm is fucked. Need to fix it…
Yeah, same here. I’m amazed that so many people get thrown so hard over an hour. I guess I’m lucky.
