Great-Grandma (born 1908) did aproximately weekly with her favorite hair dresser Nancy, Grandma (born 1929) and Mom (born 1956) didn’t.
I (born late 1970s) do still get infrequent haircuts because I’m not brave enough to cut my own.
One of the benefits of our state lockdown was that I discovered my daughter has a natural talent for haircutting. She’s done all my haircuts ever since!
